Heavenly places - A Prayer

That’s my prayer. To be in heavenly places. Above the snares and cares of this world - all worldly ambitions and desires and enticements.

To dwell where Christ dwells. To love like Christ loves. To have motives of heart pure as His. To have peace like He does and did while walking this earth, even in the midst of. To commune more with You Father than anyone else. That’s my prayer.

May all things of this earth lose their grip on me. May I be empowered with and by Your Spirit as others have been. Even me - Do not pass me by my Lord. While You are blessing others, and as you did Your children in history, bless even me Lord.

As You blessed Jacob - blessings with which nothing on earth can compare, bless me too Abba. As Jacob himself was empowered to cling to You, even to wrestle with You. Dislocated joint and everything! Even with a fearful heart! With myriad hurts behind him, Empower me too Abba. As you gave to Paul, and to Joseph, and to many others, resolve, opportunity, and diligence to work and walk in Your calling, give to me, too.

As You have blessed the works of the hands of Your children for Your glory, make it so for me too.

You withhold no good gift from Your children. Among whom I fully believe I am, because of Your Grace and unfailing love. Because of Who You are!

I rest assured in Your promises. I stand and walk in Your boldness.

Thank You. My Friend. My greatest Love. My Saviour.
